Muehlhan Wind Service (MWS), a leading full-scope independent service provider delivering wind turbine installation and maintenance solutions to the wind industry in more than 35 countries around the world, announced today that it has acquired Alberta-based Energy Wind & Renewables (EWR).

The acquisition will allow Muehlhan Wind Service to expand further into the North American market by leveraging Energy Wind & Renewables’ established presence and expertise in the Canadian wind industry. Operating across Canada, EWR has established itself as a leader in the wind industry, offering utility sized installation services, main component exchange services and tailored crane solutions.

“The acquisition of Energy Wind & Renewables is a testament to our commitment to expanding our global presence and enhancing our offerings to meet the evolving needs of our customers. North America is a key market for us, and EWR’s established presence and reputation here are invaluable as we continue to grow across the continent. We will support Kevin Weiberg as Kevin and the team continue to deliver quality solutions to customers, and we look forward to expanding the service offering of EWR, as well as developing the strategic supply relationship with the Myshak Group” (Søren Høffer, CEO of Muehlhan Wind Service).

“The Myshak Group embarked on a strategic expansion as a full-service wind energy solution provider establishing EWR and its dynamic team – and the Myshak Group has been proud to grow EWR and support energy transition initiatives in Canada.” (Jim Myshak, CEO Myshak Group)

“With Muehlhan Wind Service supporting EWR with wind energy solutions and the Myshak Group supporting EWR with tailored crane solutions, EWR is positioned for continued success.  We look forward to continuing our collaboration with EWR as we enter a long-term strategic supply agreement to continue to supply crane and equipment solutions to EWR.” (Jeremy Sparks, Director, Myshak Group)
